Paris terror raid

Ongoing raid by police St Denis in Paris.  An apartment where was believed to be where the terrorists that attacked on Friday were residing was raided, leaving 3 suspected terrorists dead, 5 under arrest and a female suicide bomber blew herself up. At least 5 policemen were injured and a police dog allegedly died during the raid. Abdelhamid Abaaoud who is said to be the mastermind behind Friday's attacks is a major target of the raid.

Bomb blast in Yola

An explosion has hit Jambutu bypass in the Jimeta area of Yola, the Adamawa State capital in north east Nigeria at around 8pm.
There are reports that the explosion was set off by a suicide bomber.Unconfirmed report says about 28 people have died from the blast. No terrorist group has taken responsibility for the incident.

President Buhari launched an Anchor Borrowers Programme

Nigeria has launched an Anchor Borrowers Programme for rice and wheat farmers to advance their status from small holder farmers to commercial or large growers.

At the launch of the programme in Kebbi State on Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari expressed optimism that the CBN Anchor Borrowers Programme had a potential of creating millions of jobs and lifting thousands of small holder farmers out of poverty.

Charlie Sheen's nightmare

Charlie is one to have lived a reckless life of drugs, alcohol and women, it seems not to be a surprise to many that he has contacted HIV. 
Sheen said he made the announcement to end a smear campaign and extortion efforts.
"I have to put a stop to this onslaught, this barrage of attacks and of sub-truths and very harmful and mercurial stories that are about me, threatening the health of so many others that couldn't be further from the truth," he said.
